‘National’ record vacuum cleaner is ON!

For 20 cents you can’t go wrong. I put new batteries in it and it started to make this pleasant hoover noise. But does it work? Actually yes! Typical dirt like dust gets caught in a little reservoir. The problem with more common dust sweepers is the residue of dust. Even doing that ‘last cool move’ trying to get that stripe of dust from your record, is a thing we do but it doesn’t work: all gathered dust gets spread across the surface of the record again. So, to me, this is a nice way getting dust free records. (Grease and heavy dirt need a different treatment, but that’s another story for another time.)
